Really Weird

Have I ever told you that I’m really weird? You can ask my friends. They’ll tell you. I’ll even give you a few reason why.
First of all, I love school. How many kids do you know that love school. None right?
Second, I’d rather read than watch T.V. Right now I’m reading this book called Michael Vey: Rise of the Elgen. It is one of my favorite series. My other 2 favorite series are Percy Jackson, and the Heroes of Olympus. I am waiting for the fifth book to come…
Wait. What am I doing? See? I can never stop talking if it is about books.
Oh. And another thing. I am very talkative if I know the person I’m talking to. When I was little you couldn’t even understand me because I spoke too fast. Now I talk more slowly, but I talk more.
See? Don’t you believe me? I am weird. I’m strange. Unnatural. Not normal. Weirdness is awesome.

The End

Oh. I almost forgot. I am very picky about spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation.
I am probably going to revise this at least 3 times before I like the way it is written.

Worm

I found a little worm
It was trying to squirm
But then I noticed that he was stuck
I tried to pull him out, but he was like muck
It was no use because I suck
I tried and tried
and I ate some apple pie
to fully restore my energy
but then I saw people walking by
They really looked cramped
it looked like they’d just camped
and I tried to yelp
but they just didn’t help
and they went on to where they’re going
I pulled one more time
and I pulled him out fine
and it looked like he was going to shine

Glue

Once when I was eight I was trying to glue some gems on a jewelry box, but the glue wouldn’t come out. So I was looking at the glue and it just shot out straight into my eye. It felt like fire.

My parents rushed me into the shower trying to get the glue out. When I got out of the shower I couldn't open my eye because it was too weak. When we finally got my eye open it was all red. My parents were going to take me to the emergency room but by the time they made a decision I was fine.

That’s how I got glue in my eye.

TEETH

I started school when I was about 3 years old. I was delighted to start school, but that was because I didn’t know what was in store for me.  I was the smallest in my class, which isn’t much of a surprise.

The first day of school was normal, but the second day was the worst!  We had recess for some time; I was playing with a barbie and other toys that I can’t really remember. There was a little boy in my class who was blond and much taller than me. He got my barbie doll house and took it away. When I tried asking for it back he threw the doll house fiercely right at my tooth.

My mouth started bleeding like crazy and my teachers didn’t do anything about it! I remember hiding below a table where nobody could see me crying and bleeding.

When my parents picked me up the teacher told them what had happened. My parents were really surprised!

I remembered this story and I thought I should write about it, so I asked my parents if they could give me some details about what had happened. They gave me the wrong ones! They told me a completely different story. When I asked them where they got they got that story from, they said my teachers.

I told my mom what really happened and she got furious! Wouldn’t you be mad?

Don´t Read This!

My name is… Wait; why am I telling you my name if you don't need to read this? Why are you reading this anyway? Didn't you read the title? Isn’t that enough? Wait a minute--I need to check the book of rules. I found it! And do you know what it said?? THAT YOU CAN´T READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!! You are breaking a lot of rules if you are reading this, But if you read the next paragraph I will have to kill you.

WHY ARE YOU READING?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I just told you to stop reading! Can't you stop reading? Stop reading! Stop reading! Stop reading! Stop reading! Aaugh! I was out of breath! I needed to breathe ´cause of you making me angry. If you read one sentence more, you will not be able to stop reading to the end. I warned youuuuu!
The end, The end, The end, The end, The end, The end, The end, The end, The end. Ok I am exhausted! Stop reading! Please?

Why this Blog?

This blog has been created for my fifth grade students to share their writing. It is March of 2014. I will be their teacher for only a few more months. However, I look forward to posting their writing over many more years. I'm excited to see how they develop as writers, and share their talents with the world.

This is the only entry you will see from me. All future entries will be by my students. It promises to be a wonderful ride!
